Hekou – A Border Town Between China and Vietnam

 Hekou (河口) is a small but lively border town in Yunnan Province, southwestern China. It is located directly opposite Lao Cai City in northern Vietnam, with the two towns separated by the Red River. Location

Hekou is part of the Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture in Yunnan Province. It lies right on the China–Vietnam border, making it an important gateway between the two countries.
